Puerto Rico/New Delhi : Miss World finale 2021 postponed! 17 people including India’s Mansa Varanasi found corona positive. Keeping in mind the increasing cases of corona among the participants, the Miss World Organization has decided to postpone the Miss World finale.

Amidst the threat of Omicron, the Coronavirus epidemic has started raising its head again. The Miss World 2021 contest has been pushed forward due to the increasing cases of Corona. The finale of Miss World 2021 has been temporarily postponed after several contestants were found to be Corona positive. It was announced on Thursday, a few hours before the start of the event. For the time being, the contestants have been kept in isolation in Puerto Rico, where the finale was to take place.

Mansa Varanasi is representing India in Miss World pageant-

This decision has been taken after 17 contestants and staff members came to Corona positive. Mansa Varanasi of India is also included among those infected. Who won the title of Miss India World 2020 and will represent India in the international beauty pageant Miss World 2021.

Miss India Organization said on its official page, “We cannot believe that she (Mansa Varanasi) will not be able to shine on the world stage despite her tireless work and dedication. However, her safety is of paramount importance to us.”
