The deceased has been identified as Dharmendra Singh, a resident of village Kala. It is being told that two groups opened fire near the petrol pump behind Punjabi University late in the night, in which Dharmendra Singh was killed. The entire incident of murder was captured on CCTV. In the video, a masked man is seen firing bullets at Dharmendra.

Dharmendra Singh used to organize Kabaddi tournament in the village every year and Kabaddi tournament was the head of the club. Bullets were fired upon him. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. Police are searching for the accused from the video of the murder.
