As soon as Prime Minister Narendra Modi got down from his car, President Macron hugged him. Both kept greeting each other for a long time. During this, the wife of President Emmanuel Macron was also present there. Actually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached France after visiting Germany and Denmark. On reaching France, PM Modi tweeted and said that I have landed in Paris. France has always been a strong partner of India. They cooperate with us in many fields. During their meeting, PM Modi and Macron are expected to discuss measures to end the ongoing conflict in the war-torn country Ukraine along with mitigating the global economic consequences of the Ukraine crisis. His meeting with Macron, who became President after winning the election for the second time, is being considered very important. Prime Minister Modi’s meeting with Emmanuel Macron a few days after the presidential election is a big sign.

Earlier, PM Modi had met PM Marine Sana in his visit to Finland. In the meeting, issues like trade, investment, technology were discussed in detail and there was an emphasis on further strengthening the relationship between the two countries. Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also participated in the second India-Nordic Summit.
