Noida: Elderly farmer shot dead in Badalpur region

He told that the relatives of the deceased have complained to the police station naming many people

Noida – An 85-year-old resident of Girdharpur village of Badalpur police station area in Gautam Budh Nagar district was shot dead on Thursday night when he had gone to the farm.

According to the police, the deceased were key witnesses in the double murder in Girdharpur village. The police suspect that the old man has been murdered due to lack of evidence in the court.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone II) Harish Chandra said that Prem (85), a resident of Girdharpur village, had gone to his farm on Thursday night when unknown miscreants shot and killed him. He said that the police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem.
