Noida: Chinese youth arrested with Indian girlfriend, Agencies are in the process
Noida Police of Uttar Pradesh has detained a Chinese national and his Indian girlfriend. It is alleged that even after the expiry of the visa, he was staying in India illegally. According to news agency ANI, Noida Police has detained him from Gurugram. At present, the IB and local intelligence are interrogating the Chinese national and his Indian girlfriend. The police have also recovered fake visas and several Indian SIM cards from his possession.
At the same time, Additional SP of Greater Noida, Vishal Pandey said that today we got information from Sursand PS in Sitamarhi, Bihar that 2 Chinese nationals have been arrested by SSB. Bihar Police has arrested him while trying to cross the border. He did not have an Indian visa. A case was registered at Sursand police station. During interrogation, he told that he was staying with his Chinese friend in Jaypee Greens, Greater Noida. On that basis, the Chinese national was identified.
He was interrogated and it was found that the visa of the Chinese national had expired in June 2020 and he had forged it to show it as 2022. He violated visa conditions and used forged documents. An FIR has been registered against the Chinese national and his female friend. The police also told that the room where both were staying in JP Greens has been sealed. The laptop and other items of a Chinese citizen are locked in the room. However, as soon as the police came under arrest, the Chinese youth has deleted the entire data of the mobile.
