According to the director of the hospital, Bappi Lahiri was undergoing treatment for the past one month and was discharged on Monday itself. The doctor says that Bappi Lahiri has died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea). Bappi Lahiri, popularly known as Bappi Da, created a different kind of raga in the music industry with his tunes and songs.
Talking to Journalists the director of the hospital, Dr Deepak Namjoshi said, ‘Lahri ji was admitted to the hospital for a month and he was also discharged on Monday. His condition suddenly worsened on Tuesday and his family asked the doctor to come home. From there he was taken to the hospital. He had many health problems. He passed away due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea). Let us inform that in the month of April last year, Bappi Lahiri came under the grip of Corona virus. After this, he was undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He had recovered after a few days of treatment.
Bappi Lahiri made such songs in the 70-80s, on which people are forced to dance even today. He composed songs for many superhit films like Chalte-Chalte, Sharabi, Disco Dancer. Last time he composed Bhankas for Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor’s film Baaghi 3.
