New Delhi: There is bad news for football lovers. Legendary footballer Pele has passed away. Information was given by News agency AFP. Pele breathed his last at the age of 82. Pelé is the only player to win the FIFA World Cup three times. The sport’s most prestigious trophy, in 1958, 1962 and 1970.

Pele’s daughter Kelly Cristina Nascimento shared a picture on Instagram after her father’s death. In this picture, the members of Pele’s family are seen giving their last farewell. In this picture, Pele is on a hospital bed and is on a drip. Kelly wrote, “We will always love you.” Grateful for whatever you have done for us so far. Earlier, Pele was admitted to Sao Paulo’s Albert Einstein Hospital late last month for treatment of a respiratory infection and chemotherapy. In recent years, he had faced several health problems including his spine, hip, knee and kidney.
