Kerala: First case of Omicron came in the state, State Health Minister Veena George gave information

Thiruvananthapuram : The first case of Omicron, a new form of covid-19, has been confirmed in Kerala. State Health Minister Veena George gave this information on Sunday.

The minister, in a video posted on his Facebook page, said the patient is a resident of Kerala, who had recently returned from the UK. He said that the patient’s condition is stable and there is no need to panic as the government is taking all necessary steps to prevent the new form of infection from spreading.
