J&K :  Explosion in landmine, girl lost her leg in Uri Sector

J&K : A girl lost her leg in a landmine blast along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri sector. Police have identified the girl as 20-year-old Masuma of Hathlanga village in Uri sector.

Sources said that the girl was grazing sheep near her house at the time of the incident. Doctors at the Uri sub-district hospital said that he had suffered a serious injury to his left leg, which led to his leg being amputated.

“He has been referred to Government Medical College Hospital Baramulla for specialized treatment,” sources said.
