Haridwar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday inaugurated the administrative building of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University located in Bahadrabad, Haridwar.
Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that commendable work is being done by the university to promote Sanskrit education. He said that he has a special attachment to universities, he has spent a lot of time in Lucknow University, whenever there is any program of any university, he cannot stop himself from going. He said that Sanskrit is the mother of all languages in the world. When there was no light of education or knowledge in the whole world, then there were universities like Taxila and Nalanda in our India. At that time, if anyone did the work of imparting knowledge to the whole world, then the land of Bharat did it.
The Chief Minister said that the country has got the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing the work of increasing India’s respect and self-respect all over the world. Today the whole world is celebrating Yoga Day as International Yoga Day. On November 05, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated work worth Rs 400 crore in Kedarnath. Soon we will be able to go to Kedarnath temple by cable car. Hemkund Sahib, the holy shrine of Sikhs, will also be connected by ropeway. The Chief Minister said that the way Adi Guru Shankaracharya did the work of connecting the whole of India from North to South, East to West in one thread, similarly today Prime Minister Narendra Modi is connecting the whole country together in the formula of development.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid down the vision of the state for 2025, to fulfill this vision we all have to work together. In the year 2025, along with being a youth state of 25 years, the country will be the best, excellent and ideal state, we are committed and determined in this direction. The Chief Minister said that the problem of payment of salary and arrears of 7th Pay Commission to the staff of Sanskrit University would be resolved soon. He said that the vacant posts in Sanskrit education would be filled soon. Cabinet Minister Swami Yatishwaranand, MLA Sanjay Gupta, Adesh Chauhan, Vice Chancellor Prof. Devi Prasad Tripathi, Vice Chancellor Gurukul Kangri University Dr. Roop Kishore Shastri, Registrar Sanskrit University Girish Kumar Awasthi etc. were present in the program.
