Haridwar: CM Dhami and Union Minister Sarvanand Sonowal participated in the program “Ayush Dialogue” – Uttarakhand AYUSH: Resources and Possibilities organized by the Department of AYUSH and AYUSH Education


Haridwar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Minister for Shipping and Waterways, AYUSH, Government of India, Sarvanand Sonowal, organized “AYUSH Samvad” by the Department of AYUSH and AYUSH Education at Alaknanda Ghat, Haridwar on Thursday – Uttarakhand AYUSH: Resources and Prospects. – Participated in the program.
While addressing the program, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that all-round development is taking place in Uttarakhand. He said that the coming decade will be the decade of Uttarakhand. He said that when we will celebrate the 25th foundation day of Uttarakhand, at that time our state Uttarakhand will be the leading state of India in every field, for this we are working.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami demanded from the Union Minister for Shipping and Waterways, AYUSH, Government of India to open an All India Ayurvedic Institute in Uttarakhand. He said that whatever the expectations of the Government of India from the state of Uttarakhand, we will fulfill them. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought laurels to the country in every field in the world. Referring to the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, he said that this wonderful corridor has been made. After Ahilyabai Holkar ji, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has adorned the form of Kashi Vishwanath.
Referring to Kedarnath Dham and Badrinath Dham, he said that schemes worth Rs 400 crore have been inaugurated and foundation stone has been laid in Kedarnath and in April the third phase of work will start in Kedarnath. Apart from this, approval has been given for schemes worth Rs 250 crore for Badrinath Dham, for which the tender process has started. Sarvanand Sonowal, Union Minister for Shipping and Waterways, AYUSH, while addressing the program, announced that under National AYUSH Mission, a 10-bed Ayush hospital would be set up in Uttarakhand, one mobile AYUSH unit in each district of the state. He said that there would be a system of Marma Medicine in Uttarakhand Ayurvedic University and it would become a major center of the country.
The Union AYUSH Minister said that the Government of India is giving assistance to Uttarakhand for the development of AYUSH sector and will develop Uttarakhand as an important state. Prime Minister is engaged in serving the country day and night with hard work and honesty, due to which we also get inspiration and guidance. With his methodology, he has made a different identity not only in India but in the whole world. The Prime Minister always talks about Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and he has done the work of taking the country forward by taking every section along. He said that India will become self-reliant in every field under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Referring to the Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, he said that he is engaged in the service of the people of Uttarakhand with hard work and dedication and has made his place in the hearts of the people of Uttarakhand in a short span of time. Uttarakhand’s Forest, Environment Protection and Climate Change, Labor, Skill Development and Employment, AYUSH, AYUSH Education, Energy and Alternative Energy Minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat said that Uttarakhand is the land of Maharishi Charak Rishi. Uttarakhand is the land of Yoga, Ayurveda, Mother Ganga. The Prime Minister took Yoga to the international stage and formed the Ministry of AYUSH, due to which a lot of progress is being made in the field of AYUSH today. He said that in the time of covid-19 people understood the importance of AYUSH. He informed that today there are 19 Ayurvedic colleges, in which there are 11 hundred seats.
BJP State President Madan Kaushik, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, D. Senthil Pandian, Joint Secretary AYUSH and AYUSH Education, Government of India, Prof. Sunil Kumar Joshi, Vice Chancellor, Uttarakhand Ayurvedic University also addressed the function. The program was inaugurated by Pushkar Singh Dhami, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Uttarakhand, Sarvanand Sonowal, Hon’ble Minister for Shipping and Waterways, AYUSH, BJP State President Madan Kaushik, Cabinet Minister Yatiswaranand etc. by lighting the lamp. On reaching the Alaknanda Ghat complex, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Uttarakhand and Sarvanand Sonowal, Hon’ble Minister of Shipping and Waterways, Ayush etc. were given a grand welcome and felicitation by offering shawls, bouquets and emblems. The forum was conducted by Dr. Naresh Chaudhary, Secretary, Red Cross. On this occasion the students of Patanjali University presented Dhanvantari Vandana. Apart from this, the students of DAV Public and Dev Sanskriti Sanstha mesmerized the dignitaries present by presenting cultural programs. Grand stalls related to AYUSH were set up in the Alaknanda Ghat complex. On this occasion, officials of various organizations including Cabinet Ministers, Yatishwaranand, Chandresh Kumar, Secretary AYUSH, Dr. Arun Kumar Tripathi, Director Ayurvedic and Unani Services, officers of the concerned departments, teachers, students, etc. were present.
