Valsad/Gujarat : In Gujarat, the Crime Branch team of Valsad police arrested 41 people, including a minor, after raiding a BJP leader’s liquor party on Sunday night. Medical examination of all has been done and investigation is going on.
According to police sources, the Crime Branch team had received specific information about a liquor party being held at a farmhouse in Karanjveri village of Dharampur taluka of Valsad district. Police confiscated 25 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor worth Rs 15,000 and country liquor wares worth Rs 64,000. A total of 36 lakh rupees worth of goods have been seized along with the vehicles. Police Inspector D.M. Dhol is investigating the matter.
