Rampyari wife of Mohanlal, resident of Faldakot Malla village, told that on Monday midnight, a bear attacked her cowshed. The bear killed the cow tied to the peg. The villagers informed the Laldhang range officials about the matter. On receiving the information, the employees of the Forest Department inspected and gave the report to the higher officials. Local villagers Premlal, Kanhaiyalal Kandwal, Sarla Devi, Paramvir Singh Payal say that last year also wild animals had caused a lot of damage. Due to the negligence of the forest department, wild animals have been making their cattle their prey every day. People are scared by the knock of wild animals. He has appealed to the forest department for the safety of life and property. On the other hand, Forest Inspector Bhupendra Bisht told that the matter is being investigated. Along with this, night patrolling is being increased for the safety of the villagers.
