The body of senior journalist Rajiv Pratap, missing for several days, has been recovered from Joshiyada Barrage, sparking an atmosphere of mourning in the district.\u00a0The body of senior journalist Rajiv Pratap, missing for the past few days, was recovered from Joshiyada Barrage today. His sudden and tragic death has cast a pall of gloom over the district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rajiv Pratap was known for his fearless and unbiased journalism.\u00a0Rajiv Pratap, a freelance journalist from Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, had been missing for the past nine days. He mysteriously disappeared on the night of September 18th. The family reported that Rajiv left home in his friend&#8217;s car. He has not been contacted since. Rajiv&#8217;s car was found on the river bank. It is reported that Rajiv had been exposing corruption at the Uttarkashi hospital for several days.
