He carried a bounty of 50,000 rupees. Two days ago, he had demanded extortion money worth lakhs from Madan Sweets and an iron dealer in Ghaziabad. ADCP Crime Piyush Singh and Crime Branch SWAT team in-charge Anil Rajput&#8217;s team neutralized Balram Thakur. This was the first full-scale encounter during the tenure of Police Commissioner J. Ravinder Gaud.
