On 22.10.2024, the constituted team conducted a surprise checking at Hotel Negi Palace located on Doon University Road and arrested 03 accused involved in prostitution and 04 female victims from various states Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Tripura were recovered from the hotel. The police team also recovered objectionable material from the accused. On interrogation by the police team on the spot, the main accused told that he has been jailed twice in Noida for the crime of prostitution and has brought women from different states to the hotel here by luring them with jobs and good salary and he does prostitution by contacting customers through phone and mobile on the website for prostitution. The accused have been arrested and a case has been registered against them at Nehru Colony Police Station under Section 3,4,5,6,7 of the Moral Traffic (Prevention) Act 1956.
