His body was found hanging from a tree in Odisha. His name is Mukti Ranjan Pratap Rai. Central Bangalore&#8217;s DCP Shekhar H Tekkanwar has given this information. Let us tell you, Mahalakshmi&#8217;s body was found in pieces in Malleswaram area. Police was informed after neighbors smelled a foul smell. When the police arrived, they were shocked to see. Mahalakshmi was murdered after being cut into more than 50 pieces. Mahalakshmi lived alone. She was living separately from her husband for the last 9 months. After that her husband had expressed suspicion on a person named Ashraf. The murderer Muktiranjan was changing different locations and had reached Odisha. His house is also there. When the police team reached Odisha, his body was found hanging from a noose. A suicide note of his has also been recovered from the spot. In which he has confessed to killing Mahalakshmi.
