In a tweet in Hindi, the Congress leader said, &#8220;I am deeply shocked by the heinous murder in Udaipur. Cruelty in the name of religion cannot be tolerated. Those spreading terror by such brutality should be punished immediately.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rahul Gandhi&#8217;s reaction came after two men slit the throat of a tailor in Udaipur on Tuesday, saying in a video posted on social media that he avenged the insult to Islam and created communal tension in the Rajasthan city. &#8220;We all have to defeat hatred together. I appeal to all to maintain peace and brotherhood,&#8221; the Congress leader said. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that both the accused in the Udaipur incident have been arrested from Rajsamand. He promised a speedy investigation into the matter and said that the culprits would be given the harshest punishment in the court. Gehlot also called upon the people to maintain peace.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that the violent incident in Udaipur should be condemned. In a tweet in Hindi, he said, &#8220;The culprits should be punished severely. Spreading hatred and violence in the name of religion is fatal for our country and society.
