US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said that the US is monitoring the rise in incidents of human rights abuses in India. The report of TRT World has said this. We speak regularly with India on these shared values \u200b\u200b(of human rights) and we are monitoring recent incidents in India involving human rights abuses by government, police and prison officials, said Blinken. On Monday, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Indian Foreign Minister S. Said this in a joint press conference with Jaishankar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, Blinken did not elaborate on what events he was referring to. Rajnath Singh and Jaishankar, who spoke after Blinken at the press briefing, did not comment on Blinken&#8217;s statement on the human rights issue. Blinken&#8217;s remarks came days after US Representative Ilhan Omar questioned the US&#8217; avoidance of criticizing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi&#8217;s government on human rights issues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What does Modi need to do with India&#8217;s Muslim population? If nothing is done, will we stop considering India as a partner in peace?
