The BJP has become the first party since 1990 to touch the 100 mark in the Rajya Sabha. In the elections held on Thursday, the BJP has won one seat each in Assam, Tripura and Nagaland. After this BJP has reached the achievement of having 101 members in Rajya Sabha for the first time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After 32 years in the Upper House, no party has achieved this figure. However, the official announcement is yet to be made. A few days ago, biennial elections were held for 13 Rajya Sabha seats in 6 states. This includes 2 seats in Assam, 1 in Himachal Pradesh, 3 in Kerala, 1 in Nagaland, 1 in Tripura and 5 in Punjab. BJP lost one seat from Punjab, but won three North-East states and one seat each from Himachal Pradesh. At present, the number of BJP members is 97. Talking about NDA, now 117 members in Rajya Sabha Huh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AAP candidates won the five Rajya Sabha seats in Punjab unopposed. These include Raghav Chadha, MLA from Delhi&#8217;s Rajinder Nagar, cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Sandeep Pathak, Sanjeev Arora and Ashok Mittal.<\/p>\n<div class=\"natio-after-content\"
