Uttarakhand receives ‘Leader’ status in Startup India Ranking
New Delhi/Dehradun : Certificate of Appreciation awarded by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. In the States’ Startup Ecosystem Ranking (5th edition) released by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Uttarakhand has been recognized as a ‘Leader’ in developing a robust startup ecosystem. For this achievement, the Department of Industries, Government of Uttarakhand, was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation on the occasion of National Startup Day.
This recognition clearly demonstrates that Uttarakhand has succeeded in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, investment, and connecting youth with self-employment through its startup policy, which is now being appreciated at the national level. Uttarakhand’s achievement is also being viewed as a model at the national level.
