US: For the first time in its 98-year history, entertainment giant Walt Disney has handed over the reins to women. Susan Arnold, 67, will be the company’s new board chairman. She has been a member of the Disney board for 14 years and will replace current chairman Bob Iger on December 31. Bob announced his resignation last year after serving in the position for nearly 15 years. He will leave the company by the end of this month, after which Susan will take over.
