Ladakh : Road accident in Ladakh: Army vehicle carrying soldiers fell into Shyok river, 7 killed, 19 injured
Seven soldiers died and 19 others were injured in a road accident in Ladakh on Friday. Defense sources gave this information. According to sources, 26 jawans were injured in a road accident in Turtuk area of Ladakh.
An army source said, seven soldiers died on the spot, while 19 others were injured. The injured soldiers have been admitted to the Military Hospital in Chandigarh.
Expressing grief over this accident, PM Modi said that I am hurt by the bus accident in Ladakh, in which we have lost the brave soldiers of our army. My condolences are with the bereaved families. I hope those who have been injured get well soon. All possible help is being given to the affected.
