Rishikesh : Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia Cadaveric Workshop was organized under the aegis of Department of Anesthesiology, AIIMS, Rishikesh. In which 20 students of Anesthesia participated. Held in the Anotomy Dissection Hall and C.P.D. located on the AIIMS campus. The workshop was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Professor Arvind Rajvanshi, Director, AIIMS. He said that conducting such educational activities has special importance, so students should be encouraged for this. Professor Manoj Gupta, Dean (Academic) of the institute apprised about the growing importance of ultrasound technology in various medical specialties. In the workshop, the participating Anesthesia students were given detailed information about various aspects of regional (Anaesthesia) of different body parts, as well as were shown experiments on cadavers. It was told that the objective of the workshop is to make the students aware of the various properties of local Anaesthesia, as well as to make them aware about the use of ultrasound. So this type of workshop will help trainee students to use this feedback during surgery. On this occasion, Head of Department of Anesthesia, Dr. Sanjay, to make available the cadavers in the workshop, Prof. Thanks to Brijendra Singh.

The faculty members who participated in the organizing committee of the workshop included HOD Anesthesiology and Organizing President Prof. Sanjay Agarwal, Organizing Secretary Dr. Mridul Dhar, Organizing Secretary Dr. Praveen Talwar, Resource Faculty Dr. YS Payal, Dr. Debendra Tripathi, Dr. Ankit, Dr. Ajay, Dr. Ajit, Dr. Gaurav, Dr. Deepak, Dr. Bhavna, Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Dr. Mukesh Singla, Dr. Sonal Saran were present.
