Risihkesh : The program was started by Social Outreach Cell of AIIMS Rishikesh in Nainital district of Kumaon division under “UDAN” outreach tele health consultation model. Under which treatment was provided along with health-related counseling to the villagers in the remote village Sundarkhal of Ramnagar block of Nainital district. It is worth noting that under the joint aegis of Social Outreach Cell of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS Rishikesh and IIT Roorkee, “UDAN”, an outreach tele-health consultation has been prepared, which was inaugurated on October 16, 2021. Health program was organized in remote village Sundarkhal of Ramnagar block of Nainital district located in Kumaon division through Outrin Tele Health Consultation. In which Dr. Santosh Kumar, Nodal Officer of Social Outreach Cell of AIIMS Rishikesh and key person of the program informed that people living in remote and rural areas are being provided free health related consultations as well as treatment through UDAN Tele Health Consultation Program, whose objective is to to provide easy treatment to the people in remote areas without health services.

Under which AIIMS, Rishikesh is providing health services through online medium. He told that now the time has come that we should move towards new health tele-medicine. Regarding the program organized, Dr. Santosh Kumar said that more than 30 people participated in the program. In which many people of the village B.P. He was found suffering from diseases like hypertension, mental illness, stress, body pain etc. All the patients were given free treatment as well as counseling. The villagers of the area actively participated in the program organized by the Social Outreach Cell of AIIMS Rishikesh and at the same time this program of AIIMS Rishikesh was appreciated by the residents. Shweta Mashiwal, representative of Vatsal Foundation, Amandeep Negi of AIIMS Outreach Cell, Swati, Pankaj etc. were present during the program. Under the Inset Plan, five to six villages will be selected in the state of Uttarakhand under the UDAN program. In which special diseases found in the area will be discussed scientifically through teleconsultation and their causes, prevention and prevention will be done. In this research team, AIIMS Rishikesh’s diabetologist Dr. Ravi Kant, Gynecologist Dr. Anupama Bahadur, Orthopedist Dr. RB Kalia, Respiratory Specialist Dr. Girish Sindhwani, Family Physician Dr. Santosh Kumar, Pediatrician Dr. Vinod Kumar etc.
