Rishikesh: Health Minister honored AIIMS Rishikesh, got award for excellent services in ABDM scheme
Rishikesh: AIIMS Rishikesh has been awarded with special honor under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. This award given to AIIMS by the State Health Authority. Which has been given for better operation and excellent services of the scheme in Uttarakhand. Institute’s Executive Director Professor (Dr.) Meenu Singh has congratulated the Ayushman Bharat Yojana Digital Mission team on this achievement.
State Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat felicitated AIIMS Rishikesh by giving her a citation for better performance in ABDM scheme, during a function organized late evening at Sanskriti Bhawan, Dehradun. Along with doing excellent work under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, AIIMS Rishikesh is the first Government Medical Institute in Uttarakhand to have started QR code based Scan and Share OPD.
It is noteworthy that AIIMS Rishikesh started this scheme on November 26 last year. With the introduction of this facility, patients coming to AIIMS Hospital for treatment started getting registered easily and with the introduction of the scheme, they no longer have to stand in long queues to get themselves registered. During the function organized in Dehradun, Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat appreciated the health facilities being provided by AIIMS Rishikesh and said that the creation of Aura ID of every citizen in the state will give more momentum to the Ayushman Bharat Mission scheme. .
AIIMS Executive Director Professor (Dr.) Meenu Singh has congratulated the ABDM team of the institute for this achievement. She said that in view of Prime Minister’s far-reaching thinking and concern for the health of common poor families of the country, the Ayushman Bharat scheme has come to the ground. Lakhs of people have been benefited from this scheme in Uttarakhand. Professor (Dr.) Meenu Singh described the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission Scheme as the embodiment of the vision and resolve of PM Modi. He talked about the promotion of Ayushman Bharat Yojana and making its benefits available to more and more people.
It is noteworthy that so far 530 health professional registries have been done in AIIMS Institute under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and more than 5600 Aura IDs have also been created for the patients coming to the hospital. Not only this, the health records of around 15,000 patients have also been linked with the Aura ID by the Ayushman Department of AIIMS. Around 2080 OPD registrations have also been done in AIIMS through Scan & Share.
During the ceremony, Dr. Nodal Officer of Ayushman Bharat Yojana in the institute for better operation of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission Scheme in AIIMS. Mohit Dhingra and ABDM coordinator Kamal Juyal were honored with a citation.
