Rishikesh: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the International Yoga Festival (IYF2023) organized at Yog Bharat Ghat

Rishikesh : On Wednesday Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is not only the cultural capital of the country but also an excellent center for yoga and wellness. That’s why the state government is continuously working to develop yoga and wellness centers in the state. Yoga is the oldest tradition of our state, through yoga the people of Uttarakhand have got a new identity in the country and abroad.

The Chief Minister said that honoring the people of Uttarakhand working in the field of Yoga by the Central Government is a matter of honor for all the people of the state. It is our good fortune that in this International Yoga Festival, we are getting the guidance of respected Yogacharya Swami Shivanand ji, Rajinikanth ji, honored with Padma Shri. While the visitors get an opportunity to learn the nuances of yoga, meditation and pranayama at the Yoga Mahotsav, on the one hand, they also get free solutions to their problems through pulse tests and Ayurveda camps. He said that the spiritual land of Rishikesh But in the evening, Ganga Aarti, Bhajan, Sankirtan and the tune of regional folk music will work to introduce the participants of the Yoga Festival to the culture and heritage of Uttarakhand. No matter how stressful the environment we are in today, a few minutes of meditation relaxes us, increases our abilities. Today our Rishikesh is called the International Capital of Yoga in the whole world, it is a matter of great pride for all of us. The corner will become familiar. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Yoga has been promoted in every house, today Yoga has not become a ‘Part of Life’ but has now become a ‘Way of Life’. He said that the spiritual centers of India like Rishikesh, the abode of sages and sages, nurtured the yogic energy for centuries, today that yogic energy is giving direction to world health. Today Yoga is becoming the mutual basis of global cooperation. The Chief Minister said that today Yoga is giving faith to the human being for a healthy life, today people are doing Yoga in different countries of the world with the rising of the Sun, with the movement of the Sun. Are. The Chief Minister said that he has full faith that the meaningful discussion of the sessions to be organized in this festival will inspire our government to do more work in the field of Yoga. The double engine government is continuously working determined to fulfill its resolution without any option to make Uttarakhand the best state of the country.

Today, when our state is recognized as the mother of yoga and spirituality in the whole world, then it is the responsibility of all of us to work to give excellence to this identity. Extensive preparations are being made to make it easy and simple. The Chief Minister said that in spite of all the challenges in the last Yatra, more than 50 lakh pilgrims came to visit Devbhoomi. So far this time 1.51 lakh registrations have been done and GMVN has received bookings of 4 crores. Booking of hotel businessmen is also being done by the passengers. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also announced the expansion of Asthapath Setu. On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored Padma Shri Swami Sivananda. While Padma Shri Rajinikanth was honored by Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also participated in Ganga Aarti, by worshiping Ganga, he wished for the prosperity of the state. After this, the Chief Minister also observed an attractive drone show based on Yoga. Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that this festival will give new dimension to the tourism of Uttarakhand. This will also give recognition to our traditional products. People of the country and the world will be helped to get acquainted with the rich cultural heritage here. He said that with bird watching here, recognition is being made in many areas. Work is also being done to give recognition to other tourism areas of the state. The work of promoting wedding destination is also being done in Uttarakhand. So that people get married here and get the blessings of the gods. The work of giving recognition to the state through many religious circuits is also being done. This will give more boost to tourism. He appealed to all the devotees to visit other places of interest along with Chardham.
