Rishikesh: Basantotsav 2026 Day 2- Successful Cycling Race Competition Held

Rishikesh: A cycling race competition was organized in memory of the late Ram Babu Goyal on the occasion of Basantotsav 2026. The competition, held in memory of the late Ram Babu Goyal, was a great success. Participants from various schools in the area enthusiastically took part. Circle Officer Poornima Garg was present as the chief guest and encouraged the winners by presenting them with prizes. The first prize was awarded to Bhanu Payal (NDS School). The second prize went to Sonu Dhiman (Punjab Sindh Kshetra School), while the third prize was won by Sarthak Pundir (NDS School) and the fourth prize by Suraj Pundir (Bharat Mandir Inter College). In addition, consolation prizes were given to Siddharth Pant, Tamanna, and Priya. During the program, the organizers remembered the contributions of the late Ram Babu Goyal and said that such events promote sportsmanship, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle among the youth. The assembled crowd appreciated the organizing committee for the successful conduct of the competition.
