Pauri : 5 days river rafting training is being given to the youth on Nayar and Alaknanda rivers by district administration

Pauri :  On the direction of District Magistrate Garhwal Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande, 5 days river rafting training is being given to the youth of the district under the aegis of District Tourism Development Department.

District Tourism Development Officer Khushal Singh Negi duly inaugurated the program organized at Nayar river near Bilkhet. 25 youths participated in the training program, including 3 girls. In the training program, all the youth will learn all the tricks related to water sports. Due to which they will do a better job in the coming time as an efficient guide and other activities related to water.

District Tourism Development Officer Khushal Singh Negi informed that river rafting training program will be run for 5 days from 30 November 2021 to 4 December 2021 on Nayar and Alaknanda rivers. In which various water related training is being given to the youth by water sports experts and guides. He said that such programs would also give a boost to tourism.

Due to which tourists coming from outside will also be able to enjoy here. Said that the youth undergoing training would be able to make themselves self-sufficient in water related works in the coming time. Due to which self-employment will also be available to others. Instructor Anirudh Singh, Krishna and guide and trainees were present on this occasion.
