Pakistan violated ceasefire, Army is retaliating: Vikram Misri, Foreign Secretary

New Delhi: Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, “The agreement between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan to stop the military action going on for the last few days, which was reached this evening (May 10), is being grossly violated by Pakistan for the last few hours. The Indian Army is retaliating, dealing with this border encroachment, this encroachment is highly condemnable and Pakistan is responsible for it. We believe that Pakistan should understand this situation properly and take appropriate action immediately to stop this encroachment. The Army is keeping a close watch on this situation and has been ordered to take concrete and strict steps to deal with any encroachment.”
