Rishikesh: (Manoj Rautela) A felicitation program was organized under the International Nursing Week organized at AIIMS Rishikesh. In which the excellence award was given to the nursing personnel working in various fields of AIIMS Hospital, as well as the top participants of various competitions were honored under the week. In a program organized under the supervision of AIIMS Executive Director Professor (Dr.) Meenu Singh, five nursing Officers who have done remarkable work in various departments of the hospital, were honored with the Nursing Excellence Award. Executive Director Prof. Dr. Meenu Singh, Dean Academics Prof. on this occasion. Jaya Chaturvedi, Medical Superintendent Prof. Sanjeev Mittal, Nursing Principal Prof. Smriti Arora and Dr. Neerja Sood, Nursing Faculty of IGNOU, Nursing Officer Danya in surgical specialty, Taruna Lama in Medicine, Sanjeev Kumar in ICU, Anish in Emergency and SNO in OT specialty. Manish Kumar Madhuria honored with Nursing Excellence Award. Apart from this, the winners of various competitions organized on the theme Our Nurses Our Future were felicitated under the Nursing Week. In which Neha Mehra got first, Tarannum Ahmed second and Amandeep Kaur got third place in poster competition. Sharad Prakash and Sandeep Kumar P in the quiz. First, Aarti Rawat Kamal Pathak, Rashmi Sneha second and Vikram and Raksha stood third. Similarly, Sarita Majumdar got first, Anjani Doval second and Ankit Sharma third place in photography competition. DNS Kalpana Biniwal, Vandana, Akhil T., Jino Jacob, Kamlesh Chandra Bairwa, Jitendra Kumar Verma, Nikhil B., Pushparani etc were present in the programme.
