Nepali Sherpa climbs Mount Everest for the 29th time, breaks his own record

Kathmandu : Kami Rita Sherpa is the name who has climbed Mount Everest a record 29 times. Sherpa is 54 years old. Kami Rita has been climbing mountains since 1994. Kathmandu: Nepal’s famous mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa climbed the world’s highest peak Mount Everest for the 29th time on Sunday.

According to tourism department officials, Nepali mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa, guiding the expedition of ‘Seven Summit Treks’, reached the summit of Everest at 7:25 am on Sunday. Sherpa started his expedition from Kathmandu in late April with a mountaineering expedition team consisting of about 28 climbers. He is the mountaineer who holds the record for climbing the world’s highest peak the most number of times in the 71-year long history of climbing Sagarmatha.
