Rishikesh/Mumbai: (Manoj Rautela)  Rishikesh based Parmarth Niketan  President Swami Chidanand Saraswati was specially invited for blessings and speech on ‘Global Peace’ at the World Non-Violence Summit-2024 in Mumbai.

In the World Non-Violence Summit and Gunanuvad Mahotsav of Lord Mahavir’s peace messengers, Swami Chidanand Saraswati said that the principles of Panchsheel of Lord Mahavir are needed by the whole world today.
In his youth, young Vardhaman gave up the pleasures of royal palaces and took Sanyasa (renunciation) and went in search of truth and he attained Kaivalya by doing rigorous penance for twelve years and after that, he devoted his entire life to social reform and welfare. In fact, today’s festival is a tribute to him and his messengers of peace.
Honorable Governor of Karnataka Thaawarchand Gehlot said that Saint Shiromani Acharya Shri Vidyasagar ji and Saint Sthavir, Gachchadhipati Acharya Daulatsagar Surishwar remained dedicated to the society and living beings throughout their lives. Our country lives the principles of possibility of all religions. Our culture gives the message of world brotherhood, peace and harmony. Our tradition is the tradition of religion. Religious leaders have an important role in our lives. Religion affects any person religiously, spiritually and socially. The basis of Jainism is non-violence as supreme religion. Jain community is doing excellent work. Giving the message of environmental protection and kindness to animals, he said that we have to work together for the conservation of water, air, soil and biodiversity.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati said that this is the time to focus not only on clothes but on thoughts and character. We have to move forward with the principles of equality, harmony and harmony. Swami said that when Mahants like Pujya Vidyasagar and Pujya Daulatsagar ji come, then there is spring on the earth. Both the great men did amazing work to ensure that humanity survives on earth.On this occasion, Swami also shared the memories of the establishment of the Hindu Jain Temple built in America and the memories of the great book Hindu Dharma Encyclopedia.Swami said that at present, if there is any crisis in this society, it is that of thinking and to reduce this crisis of thinking, both the revered saints did wonderful work. Both the revered saints were the trinity of purity, intelligence and accomplishment.

Swami said that this is not the time of Mahabharata but of great India and for this we all have to unite. This country is great because it has great men who have the height of the Himalayas, the purity of the Ganga and the depth of the ocean. Our famous, ascetic and hardworking Prime Minister Narendra Modi worked to unite the society, his every breath is dedicated to the society and his nation, we have to carry forward this tradition.Maulana Dr. Kalbe Rusaid Rizvi said that when we search in life then we can achieve everything. He said that every person in India will have to spread his fragrance like the revered religious leaders.While paying his tribute, KC Jain ji recalled the memories spent with Swami Vidyasagar and said that there is a need to carry forward the work started by him. Swami presented the divine gift of Rudraksha Plant, the green gift of the Himalayas, to the Jain saints and distinguished guests.
