MP: Today Udhampur Express became a burning train in Madhya Pradesh. Two bogies of the train caught fire. One bogie is completely burnt. These coaches were air conditioned. Some other bogies in the vicinity were damaged in the fire. The train was stopped at Hetampur railway station near Morena to douse the fire. There is no report of any injury in the accident. However, the belongings of many passengers got burnt. After about five o’clock in the evening it was sent to Gwalior where coaches were made ready to replace the damaged coaches.

It is said that a sudden fire broke out in Udhampur Express train number 20848 going from Udhampur to Durg on Friday afternoon. The train was stopped near Hetampur railway station after the fire broke out. Firefighters from Morena and the surrounding area were called to douse the fire. GRP and district police personnel had also reached there. When the burning train came to a halt, he removed the crowd of villagers and passengers away from the bogies burning in the fire.
