IAS Tapasya Parihar IAS officer and IFS officer got married in Joba village of Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh. IAS Tapasya Parihar, who recently secured 23rd rank in UPSC exam, is married to IFS officer Garvit Gangwar. He has a high thinking behind his marriage being in the news. In fact, he refused to give Kanyadaan in his marriage. Tapasya told her father, ‘I am not a thing of charity, I am your daughter’. Saying this, he did not even get the ceremony of Kanyadan done in his marriage.

According to the report of a Hindi news channel, IAS officer Tapasya says that since childhood, she used to think about this ideology of the society that how someone can donate my daughter. , that too without my wish. Slowly I discussed the same thing with my family and everyone gave their consent on this matter. Then the groom’s side was also persuaded for this and the marriage took place without the bridegroom.

On this decision, Tapasya’s husband IFS Garvit explains why a girl has to change completely after marriage. Whether it is a matter of filling the demand or any such tradition which proves that the girl is married. Such rituals are never applicable for the boy and we should try to remove such beliefs gradually. His father is also very happy about the decision of not doing penance for Kanyadaan. They believe that such rituals are seen as a conspiracy to evict the girl from the father’s house or from his property.
