Merchant Navy Captain Ashish Kumar died in the Iranian attack

Patna: The Iranian Embassy has confirmed the death of Indian Merchant Navy Captain Ashish Kumar. Ashish was resident Betiyah, Bihar. Two days ago, Iran fired a missile at an Omani tanker. Captain Ashish was reported missing after this incident. Ashish had joined the Skylight boat bound for Oman on February 22nd.The Indian Embassy in Muscat has emailed the family, informing them that the ship caught fire due to the drone attack. Ten Indian crew members were aboard at the time. Omani authorities successfully rescued eight crew members. Unfortunately, two crew members, Ashish Kumar and Dalip, were in the engine room at the time and were caught in the fire.
