Meeting of Cabinet Sub-Committee constituted under the chairmanship of  Subodh Uniyal was held

Dehradun : The meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee constituted under the chairmanship of  Subodh Uniyal, Hon’ble Minister (Forest, Language, Election, Technical Education), Government of Uttarakhand, for the purpose of studying and making suggestions on the third report of the single-member dedicated commission constituted under the chairmanship of  B.S. Verma, Senior Judge, Hon’ble High Court, Uttarakhand, to conduct a contemporary rigorous empirical investigation of the nature and implications of backwardness in the local bodies within the state of Uttarakhand, was held today on 07-06-2025 in Dehradun.  Ministers Rekha Arya  and  Saurabh Bahuguna participated in the meeting as members. The sub-committee, after thoroughly studying the report of the single-member dedicated commission and forming its opinion, decided to present a consolidated report to this effect before the Hon’ble Cabinet.  Pradeep Pant, Principal Secretary, Justice, Chandresh Yadav, Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department were present in the meeting of the sub-committee.
