Lucknow : The tyre of a fighter jet plane going from Lucknow’s BKT airbase to Jodhpur was stolen in Lucknow. A report was lodged at the Ashiana police station on the complaint of the trailer driver carrying the tyre. On the other hand, the Air Force has detained the driver in the fear of being involved in any anti-national force. Along with this, the trailer has also been taken into custody.
5 tyres of a fighter jet were being sent from Lucknow’s BKT airbase to Jodhpur airbase. The trailer (RJ01GA-3338) attached to the Army came out loading the tyres, at around 2 pm on the night of 27 November. Driver Mayapur Ajmer resident Hemsingh Rawat told that there was a jam on Shaheed Path near SR Hotel.
Meanwhile, 2 people who got down from the Black Scorpio running behind the trailer cut the rope and took off 1 tyre. Due to the traffic, he could not catch them by putting the car on the side. Meanwhile, the Scorpio riders fled. Hemsingh informed the police on number 112. The police took him along with the car to the Ashiana police station. Seeing the sensitive matter here, the investigation was started after registering a report. But the thieves were not found. Ashiyana Inspector Dheeraj Shukla says that CCTV cameras of all the surrounding roads from Shaheed Path are being scanned.
Driver Hemsingh reached Jodhpur airbase on 30 November with the remaining 4 tyres. On this the Air Force police took him into custody. The fighter plane’s spares are transported from its trailer. The army suspects that the tyre has been stolen as part of an enemy conspiracy. Officials say that the car belongs to Hemsingh. He has been associated with the army for many years.
