Jaipur: Notices given to 100 builders, 118 projects can be effected
Jaipur : The Real Estate Regulatory Authority has served notices to 100 builders for not sending quarterly progress reports. There are about 118 projects of these builders, whose progress has not been reported in the stipulated time.
Now the authority has given these builders an opportunity to be heard through notice. The authority chairman will hear them from Friday. If a satisfactory answer is not received during this period, the registered project will be canceled along with fine. Though the authority had given a third opportunity to all the builders to file the QPR online with updated information, the promoters did not file the QPR till October 31 as per the orders. In such a situation, now these 100 builders have been called for hearing regarding their 118 projects by giving notice.
This hearing will be before the full bench. Out of total 1500 projects registered with the authority, QPRs of more than 1300 projects have been received so far.
