IPS Praveen kumar takes over the charge as DG BSF

New Delhi: Today, Shri Praveen Kumar, IPS, Director General ITBP, took over the additional charge of Director General, Border Security Force – The World’s largest Border Guarding Force . He has taken over the charge from Shri Daljit Singh Chawdhary, IPS, who is proceeding on superannuation today. Shri Praveen Kumar, IPS, is a 1993 batch officer of the Indian Police Service, West Bengal cadre.In his 32 years of service, he has served in different capacities in West Bengal and also has the privilege of serving on central deputation.
