Indore: Injured leopard rescued in ZOO disappeared, panic after not being detected even after 24 hours

Indore: It is said that the leopard was caught from Dalmau village of Nowra range around 2 pm on Tuesday night in Nepanagar of Burhanpur district in Madhya Pradesh. The leopard was rescued and sent to the zoo of Indore.
The team that brought the zoo after rescue had a Deputy Ranger, Nakedar, Driver and two other employees. As per forest sources Leopard was not shifted to the zoo at night, but was left in the cage where he was rescued. The cage was covered with cloth and when the cage was visited on Thursday morning, the leopard was not seen in it. Due to this the forest department is socked. When the CCTV camera was checked, only one of them showed a light image in the same cage. Even after several hours of the disappearance of the leopard, it is a matter of relief that till now no untoward incident has been reported from any place.
An injured leopard brought from Nepanagar on Wednesday evening from Indore zoo has gone missing. There is an atmosphere of panic in the city as he is not traced even after 24 hours. Due to no clear image of the missing leopard in the CCTV cameras of the zoo, the exact information about its location is not available. District officials are trying to find the injured leopard. At the same time, the officials have started raising such apprehensions whether the leopard was brought to the zoo of the rescue team or not.
