Haridwar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Gopashtami festival organized at Shri Krishnayan Deshi Gorakshashala at Basochandpur in Gandikhata area of ​​Haridwar district on Thursday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister under the Jal Jeevan Mission program for different villages of Bahadarabad, 2.39 crore in village Gandikhata, 2 crore in village Kangri, 97 lakh in Laharpur village, 4.40 crore in village Laldhang, 1.75 crore in village Sajjanpur, Peeli. 1.71 crores in Shyampur Nauabad, 2 crores in Naurangabad village, 1.33 crores in Ahmedpur Chidiyapur village, 3.29 crores in village Rasulpur Mitthiberi, 2.80 crores in Ghajiwali, 4.37 crores in village Tapadowali (Gujjar Basti), 2.22 crores in village Jaspur Chamaria, village 96.02 lakh in Samaspur Katebar, laid the foundation stone for construction works of pumping drinking water schemes worth 2.84 crore in village Peeli Pad.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that a road connecting Krishnayan Gaushala would be constructed and an embankment would also be built. The Chief Minister said that the land which is yet to be given for Krishnayan Gaushala would also be allotted soon. The Chief Minister also announced a public holiday on November 14 on the occasion of Igas festival. While congratulating and wishing the people of the state on the occasion of Gopashtami, he said that it is the identity of our culture. On the occasion of Gopashtami, he called for taking a pledge to protect Gaumata. The Chief Minister said that everything that comes from a cow is useful for us. Cow’s milk is best for health and digestion. Expressing grief, the Chief Minister said that some people feed the cow till it gives milk, but when it stops giving milk, then they leave it helpless, due to which it moves here and there. Wandering eats plastic garbage, etc., which adversely affects his health and sometimes leads to his death. Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the State Government will do the work of setting up Gaushalas in every city of the State at a fast pace.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the Gaushala and offered prayers to the cow mothers and took their blessings. He also fed prasad of jaggery to the cow mothers in the gaushala. The Chief Minister said that he has taken more than 400 decisions during his four months tenure as Chief Minister. He said that they do not take any decision without any basis. The Chief Minister said that the government has limited resources, the government has to do all the work with limited resources. He said that the earlier governments made many announcements, which have not been able to get off the ground till date, but all the announcements that we have made are visible on the ground. Whatever announcement they are making, their mandate is being issued immediately.

The Chief Minister said that today our country is progressing in every field under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of schemes worth 400 crores in Kedarnath Dham, out of which schemes worth 225 crores have been completed and foundation stone of 184 crores has been laid. Soon the construction work of the third phase in Kedarnath Dham will also start. Plans worth more than 245 crores have also been approved for Badrinath Dham, whose master plan has been prepared. The Chief Minister said that since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, the country’s prestige has increased all over the world. Today India is making progress in every field. Taking forward the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, work is being done for the development of the state of Uttarakhand, in the year 2025, when the state of Uttarakhand will complete 25 years, at that time Uttarakhand will become the number one state of the country. For this, work will be done in coordination with everyone. The Chief Minister said that our efforts are on to make Uttarakhand a cultural and spiritual state of the country. The Chief Minister said that people of different culture and customs reside in Uttarakhand, in a way, Uttarakhand is a form of Mini India.

Referring to the former Chief Minister Narayan Dutt Tiwari on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Narayan Dutt Tiwari has played an important role in the development of Uttarakhand, whether it is Sidkul area of ​​Dehradun or Haridwar or Udham Singh Nagar, among all Narayan Dutt Tiwari. has played a special role. He said that we have named Pantnagar Sidkul area after Narayan Dutt Tiwari. The road leading to his village is also named after him. While addressing the program on the occasion of Gopashtami Mahotsav, Speaker of the Assembly Premchand Agrawal while thanking the Chief Minister said that he had announced construction of Gaushala for Rishikesh assembly constituency. He called upon the people to carry forward the tradition of taking out the first roti for the cow. Addressing the program on this occasion, Cabinet Minister Swami Yatheeswaranand said that Gopashtami is being celebrated all over the country today.
