Haldwani: Himanshu Pandey becomes All India topper of CDS exam
Haldwani: Now another officer will be made from Sainik State Uttarakhand. Himanshu Pandey has secured the first place in the country. The results of the Combined Defense Services (CDS) examination are out and Haldwani, also known as the Royal City, has topped the country.
Himanshu Pandey, a resident of Haldwani, has secured the first position in all over India. The success of CDS exam topper Himanshu Pandey has made the entire Uttarakhand proud. Himanshu has been selected for Indian Military Academy Dehradun. Himanshu Pandey, a resident of Haldwani, wanted to be a part of the Indian Army since childhood. He did his schooling from ABM School, Haldwani.
Himanshu Pandey had been a meritorious student since childhood. He had secured 95 percent marks in Inter. After this, he did self-study for doing B.Tech. Enrolled in Vipin Chandra Tripathi Engineering College Dwarahat Almora, although he continued to prepare for the army during his B.Tech studies. Himanshu’s father Kamal Pandey works as a supervisor with the contractor. Maa Durga Pandey is a housewife. Himanshu’s elder sister Bhavna is working as a Provisional Officer in SBI in Ahmedabad. Younger brother Yogesh is studying B.Com. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the final results of UPSC Combined Defense Services Examination II on Friday. To know the result, visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. UPSC final result is prepared on the basis of written test and SSB interview. The result of the medical test is not taken into account in preparing the merit list.
As per the result notice released by UPSC, Indian Army Academy, Dehradun; A total of 142 (81+47+14) candidates have been recommended for admission to Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flight) Training Course i.e. No. 212 F(P) Course for 153rd (DE) Course Admission has gone. The list of roll numbers and names of the qualified candidates has been uploaded on the official website. 81 candidates have been selected in Indian Military Academy (IMA), 47 candidates in Indian Naval Academy (INA), 14 candidates for Air Force Academy (IFA).
