Goa : Set Back to Mamta! 5 Leaders Including Former MLA left TMC; Said- Prashant Kishor’s Company is Fooling US
Goa : West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has suffered a major political setback in Goa. Five Trinamool Congress leaders, including former MLA Lavu Mamlatdar, have resigned from the party. In his letter to Mamata, he said, “We do not want to be with a party that is trying to divide Goa.”
Apart from Lavu Mamlatdar, the names of Ram Mandrekar, Kishore Parwar, Komal Parwar and Sujay Malik are among those who have resigned. He said, “We had joined TMC with the hope that it would bring brighter days for Goa and Goans. But it is unfortunate that TMC has not been able to understand Goa and the people of Goa.
The quitting Trinamool members in their resignation letter questioned Mamata Banerjee’s election campaign in Goa. Referring to the I-PAC led by political strategist Prashant Kishor, he said, “The company you all have hired for your campaign in Goa is fooling the people of Goa. They are the people of Goa. Didn’t understand the pulse.”
