Panaji : Mamata Banerjee reached Panaji, the capital of Goa. Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee arrived in Goa on a two-day visit on Sunday. Where assembly elections are due early next year.

This is his second visit to the coastal state in less than two months. The West Bengal Chief Minister had last visited Goa in the last week of October. Her party has announced that it will contest all 40 assembly seats in the state. A senior party leader said, “On Monday afternoon, Banerjee will meet editors of leading media outlets of Goa near Panaji. After this, the state level TMC will hold a meeting with the leaders.

The TMC chief will visit Benaulim village in South Goa in the evening, where she will address a public meeting, he said. On December 14, Banerjee will address a public meeting in Panaji and then another meeting at Asnora village in North Goa, a party functionary said.
