Ghaziabad: Former Shia Waqf Board Chairman Waseem Rizvi today converted to Hinduism by leaving Islam. Mahant Yati Narasimhanand Saraswati converted him to Hinduism at Dasna temple. Various rituals were also performed during this time.

After the conversion, Rizvi will now join the Tyagi fraternity. According to media reports, Rizvi was converted to Hinduism on Monday with full rituals at the Dasna Devi temple. Now his new name will be Harbir Narayan Singh Tyagi. Before the conversion, Rizvi himself had said that Narasimhanand Giri Maharaj would decide his new name.
