Jaipur :  Female Excise Inspector Arrested Red-handed taking bribe of Rs 3 lakh in Jaipur, 2 brokers also arrested

Jaipur: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested former Excise Inspector Jaipur Ankita Mathur red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 3 lakh while conducting a trap operation. Along with Ankita, two touts Monu Ali and Aslam have also been arrested. His house and other places are being searched. So that it can be ascertained whether he has amassed more assets than his known sources of income.

Anti-Corruption Bureau’s Additional Director General Hemant Priyadarshi said that in the complaint given by the complainant to the ACB’s Jaipur unit, it was alleged that Ankita Mathur demanded a bribe of Rs 3 lakh for allowing her licensed liquor shops to run smoothly. Being harassed. On this, the complaint was verified under the supervision of ACB Jaipur’s Deputy Inspector General of Police Randhir Singh under the leadership of ACB Jaipur unit’s Additional Superintendent of Police Rajendra Nain. On Thursday, Police Inspector Archana Meena along with the team arrested Ankita Mathur’s daughter Chandrashekhar Mathur red-handed while conducting a trap operation. Ankita is a resident of Plot No. 138 of Laxman Colony in Shyam Nagar. The accused is being interrogated under the direction of Randhir Singh, Deputy Inspector General of Police, ACB. Advance investigation will be done by ACB after registering a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
