Delhi:  India’s big initiative in the midst of war, India will send medicines to Ukraine; humanitarian help

New Delhi: Even though India has not taken any side in the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, but it has decided to intervene on humanitarian grounds. On Monday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi gave this information. He said that we will send humanitarian aid to Ukraine, including medicines. He said that we have launched Operation Ganga to rescue the Indian people trapped in Ukraine. Under this, 1,400 people have been brought to India through 6 planes so far. Four of these aircraft have come from Bucharest in Romania, while two have come to India from Budapest, Hungary.

The Indian Foreign Ministry says that continuous efforts are being made to evacuate people. The Foreign Ministry said that the situation in Ukraine is becoming increasingly difficult, which is raising concerns. We have intensified our operations and our focus is on evacuating people as quickly as possible. The central government says that since the issue of the advisory from our side, 8,000 Indians have left Ukraine so far. On one hand the Modi government has decided to send Hardeep Singh Puri, VK Singh, Kiren Rijiju and Jyotiraditya Scindia to neighboring countries of Ukraine, while in Delhi, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi welcomed the Indians returning from Ukraine.
