New Delhi: N Chandrasekaran, President, Tata Sons, after the completion of Air India’s acquisition process, said, “We are absolutely delighted that the process is complete and are happy to bring Air India back to the Tata Group. We are a world-class company. Looking forward to working with everyone to build the airline.”
Eventually the command of Air India went to the Tata Group. Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran took over the reins of Air India on Thursday. The airline is now officially owned by Tales, a subsidiary of the Tata Group’s holding company. The Tata Group is pleased to have completed this acquisition process.
