Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed deep condolence over the tragic death of UCADA Finance Controller Amit Saini in Kedarnath after being hit by a helicopter. He has prayed to God to grant peace to the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family members. Describing the incident as sad, the Chief Minister has given instructions to investigate the cause of the accident. Along with this, instructions have been given to the concerned authorities to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future. The Chief Minister has instructed that during the travel period, the safety standards of the passengers traveling by helicopter should be followed while boarding and disembarking from the helipad. Follow up should be ensured.

Let us tell you, the incident took place on 23 April (Sunday). This time, DGCA has given permission for nine helicopter services for Kedarnath Dham. Passengers will get helicopter services from Guptkashi, Phata and Shersi. To avail the helicopter service, passengers will have to book in advance.
